Jenny Heid

Backstroke, Freestyle Senior

Peckville, Pa. - School record-breaker in backstroke three straight years . . . has placed in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference championships three times . . . also has helped 400-yard medley and 800-yard freestyle relay teams to school records.

Junior Year - Gained team's top finish in PSAC championships with eighth place in 200-yard backstroke . . . set school record in event of 2:15.06 . . . led off 400 medley relay which was tenth in the conference in a school-record 4:13.77 . . . member of 200 freestyle relay team which placed sixth in the PSAC meet.

Sophomore Year - Broke ten-year-old school record in 200-yard backstroke with time of 2:15.95 in dual meet against Montclair State . . . broke own school mark in 100-yard backstroke with time of 1:03.18 in dual meet against Millersville.

Placed 11th in 100-yard backstroke with time of 1:03.64 to gain team’s only place in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference championships . . . led off the 400-yard medley team which shattered 17-year-old school-record . . . also led off 800-yard freestyle relay which broke 18-year school mark . . . won outstanding swimmer award.

Freshman Year - Set school record in 100-yard backstroke with time of 1:03.99 in leading off 400-yard medley relay at PSAC meet . . . finished 12th in 200 back in conference meet . . . won team’s outstanding swimmer award.

Background - Qualified three years for PIAA state championships for Valley View High School . . . set three individual school records . . . member of two record-setting relay teams . . . also starred as centerfielder in softball . . . PSAC Scholar-Athlete majoring in Physical Education Teaching Certification.

Jamie Miller

Butterfly, Individual Medley Sophomore

Northampton, Pa. - Named team's outstanding swimmer last year . . . team's top scorer with 20 first-place finishes and 197 1/2 points in dual meets . . . competed in the butterfly, individual medley and freestyle.

Won three events and set pool record of 2:20.77 in

the 200 butterfly in a win over Millersville . . . .qualified for ECAC Open Swimming Championships in the butterfly but did not place . . . swam butterfly on school record-setting 400-yard medley relay team.

Placed 11th in PIAA championships for Northampton High School in 100-yard butterfly as senior . . . placed

second in 100 fly in PIAA districts in school record-time of 1:00.06 . . . finished fifth in districts in 200 individual medley and was member of two relay teams which placed fourth . . . named Mountain Valley Conference's outstanding female swimmer.

Finished 13th in state meet and fourth in districts in 100 fly as junior . . . led team to four straight conference titles . . . majoring in Recreation and Leisure Services.

Donna Gebhard

Freestyle Sprints Junior

Spring City, Pa. - Won Coach's Award for overall contributions to squad last season . . . posted team's best time in the 50 free of 25.97 . . . undefeated in 50 free in second-semester dual meets . . . named ESU Athlete of the Week after three wins in early January . . . anchored 200-yard freestyle and medley relay teams.

Gained All-State honors as sprinter and relay swimmer for Owen J. Roberts High School . . . won All-League and All-District 1 honors . . . finished in top 20- in the PIAA meet in the freestyle sprints . . . played basketball . . . majoring in Recreation and Leisure Services.

Heather Clouser

Backstroke, Freestyle Sophomore

Wyomissing, Pa. - Set school record in 100-yard backstroke with time of 1:02.08 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference championships . . . placed ninth in event . . . turned in team's best times in 50 and 100 backstroke and 200, 500 and 1,000 freestyle events.

Placed fourth in 100 back and sixth in 200 freestyle in PIAA district championships for Wyomissing Area High School . . . set numerous school records . . . starred in cross country and soccer . . . named school’s out-standing senior athlete . . . PSAC Scholar-Athlete in Athletic Training and Sports Medicine.

Erin Kowalik

Freestyle Sprints Junior

Red Lion, Pa. - Talented transfer student who should help the team immediately in the freestyle sprints . . . has the ability to post the team's best time in many years in the 100-yard freestyle . . . also will be a key member of the Warriors' relay teams.

Competed one and a half years at Ithaca College . . . placed seventh in 100-yard freestyle in New York State Championships . . . set four school records in sprints for Red Lion High School . . . finished third in York County . . . qualified for district championships . . . majoring in Recreation and Leisure Services.
