ESU Women's Swimming

LOCK HAVEN - Heather Clouser swept the backstroke against both opponents and led off the winning 200-yard medley relay team as East Stroudsburg University defeated host Lock Haven, 74-48, but lost to Bloomsburg, 87-35, in women's swimming Saturday.

Clouser captured the 100-yard backstroke in a season-best time of 1:03.18 and also won the 200 back in 2:15.58. She combined with Mikaela Thorne, Jamie Miller and Donna Gebhard on the medley relay which was first in 1:56.34.

Two ESU swimmers won events against both opponents with Karen Scott sprinting to victory in the 50-yard backstroke in 25.75 and Jamie Miller touching first in the 200-yard individual medley in 2:21.43. Miller also had a season-best time in the 200-yard butterfly in placing second in the overall meet in 2:15.08.

The Warriors are now 6-2 and will play host to Scranton Wednesday at 7 p.m.
