LOCK HAVEN - East Stroudsburg University has placed three players, second baseman Deana Geist, designated hitter Casey Dixon and pitcher Monica Sobolesky, on the All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Eastern Division softball team.

A total of 25 players, 12 on the first team and 13 on the second, were honored in a balloting of the division's seven head coaches.

Conference champion Bloomsburg swept the major awards with shortstop Erica Miller chosen as the Player of the Year, pitcher Amber Cowher the Rookie of the Year and ESU graduate Jan Hutchinson the Coach of the Year.

Geist led the Warriors in batting with a .294 average on 37 hits in 126 at-bats. She also was the team leader in runs scored with 18 and stolen bases with six.
