OSCEOLA, Fla. - East Stroudsburg University swept a Rebel Spring Games softball doubleheader for the first time in five years by beating LIU-Southampton, 1-0, and UMass-Lowell, 6-2, Thursday.

The Warriors scored the game's lone run in the fifth inning. Sarah Kaplan singled to left field, was sacrificed to second by Deana Geist, took third on an error and scored on Erika Lee's sacrifice fly to leftfield.

In the second contest, Lee drove in three runs and Casey Dixon two to back Monica Soboleski's two-run, eight-hit pitching.

Behind 2-0, ESU tied the game in the third inning on Lee's sacrifice fly and Dixon's single following a double by Aishling Stevens and a walk to Tara Greig.
