ESU-Montclair State Women's Lacrosse
EAST STROUDSBURG - Third home Kristin Restivo scored six goals and second home Megan Macauley added five as East Stroudsburg University opened its women's lacrosse season with a 19-5 romp over Montclair State Tuesday.
First home Colleen Birmingham contributed three goals and two assists. Attack wings Kim Niles and Kelly Lambert were the leaders in assists with five and four, respectively.
With the score tied, 1-1, Restivo tallied the next four ESU goals, twice on passes from Lambert, to put the Warriors ahead, 5-2. They led, 9-2, at halftime and then Macauley scored three straight times early in the second half to lift the margin to 13-3.
Kelly Wagner played the first 51 minutes at goalie and made six saves while allowing four goals. Kristin Kowalczyk finished up the last nine minutes and had three saves and permitted one goal.
