ESU-New Haven Men's Volleyball

East Stroudsburg, Pa. - Jason Hartzel and Mike Messinger jump started the East Stroudsburg University men's volleyball team back into the win column, downing the University of New Haven in three straight games, 30-24, 30-17, 30-27, Sunday in Koehler Fieldhouse.

Messinger nailed 14 kills, had nine digs and four blocks, while Hartzel contributed 12 kills, 11 digs and four blocks for the Warriors now 7-7 on the season. New Haven fell to 5-7.

Brian Harvey led ESU in digs with 14, and Chris James was the leader in assists with 38. James also had 11 digs and four blocks. The Warriors' Tom Shaver had a team-high seven blocks in the match.
