ESU-Springfield Men's Volleyball

EAST STROUDSBURG - Greg Lardo made 22 kills and hit a blazing .617 to lead Springfield College to a 28-30, 30-23, 30-28, 30-23 Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Tait Division victory over East Stroudsburg University Saturday.

Lardo took 34 swings and made only one error. Teammate Brandon Mueller added 14 kills while Tucker Short made 34 assists.

ESU was led by Dustin Wood with 14 kills and Brian Harvey with 21 digs and no errors. Setter Chris James made 44 assists and five kills. The Warriors' Mike Collins was the match leader in blocks with six.

Springfield raised its overall record to 6-4 and its EIVA mark to 1-1. ESU is now 3-7 overall and 0-4 in the league.
