ESU-Vassar Men's Volleyball

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - East Stroudsburg University gained its first Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Hay Division Saturday night by downing Vassar College 30-26, 30-14, and 30-24. The Warriors are 3-2 overall.

Mike Messinger was the team leader with 16 kills in 20 attempts and only three errors for a .650 hitting average. Tom Shaver follwoed with 11 kills in 14 swings and two errors for a .643 hitting mark.

Chris James made 45 assists and tied Shaver for the team lead in blocks with five. Brian Harvey was tops in digs with digs.##
