ESU-Molloy Men's Soccer

EAST STROUDSBURG - Forward Jorge Chapoy scored four goals as East Stroudsburg University cruised to an 8-1 men's soccer victory over Molloy College Sunday.

Chapoy racked up a 'hat trick' in the first 21 minutes and then added a fourth goal in the second half. The team's last four-goal game was by Bobby Henes against Millersville two years ago. Brandon Smith netted two goals and Kamar Samuels and Jason Cropper one apiece. Samuels, a defensive player, blasted in a one-time shot off of a defensive clear.

Kurt Nusshag had two assists while Ahmet Kose, Ryan Hepford, Brad Konawalik, Joey Piscopo each made an assist.

The win raised the Warriors' record to 7-1-l heading into a key regional battle at Dowling Wednesday. Dowling was ranked first in the region before bowing to Bloomsburg, 2-1, Saturday. Molloy is now 2-6.
