ESU-California Men's Soccer
CALIFORNIA - California clinched the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference regular season men's soccer title by tying East Stroudsburg University 1-1 Saturday.
The Vulcans are now 5-0-2 in the conference and will play host to the PSAC Championship game next Saturday.
ESU, the PSAC Champion the last four years, is in second place at 4-2-1, and can clinch home field advantage for the semi-finals by winning a regular season finale at Shippensburg today.
The Warriors, 13-4-1, have wrapped up a playoff berth, and will meet West Chester, home or away, in Tuesday's semi's.
After Lou Douglas put California ahead 1-0 with a goal in the eighth minute, ESU tied the score with 26 minutes left on a shot by Mike Lotocki.
Joey Piscopo started the play by crossing the ball to Tom Mustac, who slipped a quick pass to Lotocki, for a shot from six yards out.
