BLOOMSBURG - Aaron Carter scored 22 points and Shawn Munford added 20 as Bloomsburg University fought off a resilient East Stroudsburg University team on its way to an 85-75 victory in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Eastern Division battle at Bloomsburg Saturday night.

The game was tight throughout the first half and ESU trailed by only one point, 30-29, with 5:44 left before the break. Bloomsburg ended the half on a 12-2 run, however, and looked to have control of the game. Carter scored five points in the run and Munford added a three to end the half as the Huskies took a 42-31 advantage to the locker room.
ESU refused to quit, however, and climbed back to within seven points, 66-59, on a Juwan Justice three-pointer with 7:10 left in the game. Bloomsburg responded with a 10-0 run, fueled by eight points from Munford to build the advantage to 17 with five minutes remaining.
The Warriors battled back again closing to within 82-75 late in the game. Kyle Kostic spearheaded the Warriors late charge with two three-pointers en route to a career-high 17 points. But it was not enough as Bloomsburg was able to hold on for the 10-point victory.
