ESU-Millersville Men's Basketball

EAST STROUDSBURG - Forward Shahad Abdur Rahkman scored 24 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead East Stroudsburg University to a 78-63 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Eastern Division win over Millersville Wednesday night.

It was the second straight win and first PSAC victory for the Warriors, who are now 3-12 overall and 1-2 in conference play. Millersville dropped to 5-8 overall and 1-1 in the PSAC.

Rahkman, a freshman from Allentown, hit on ten of 16 shots from the floor and four of eight free throws. Juwan Justice added 18 points and R.C. Kehoe 13.

The team's big three had plenty of help as Kyle Kostic came off the bench to contribute seven points and six rebounds while Rob Smith had six points and Quincy Henderson and Tim Lynch five apiece.

TheWarriors trailed by four points, 49-45, with 11:36 remaining, but reeled off nine straight points to go ahead for keeps, 54-49. Smith made the go-ahead basket by a running 10-footer and Kehoe followed with a three-pointer.

Millersville closed within a point at 56-55, but ESU ran off 13 straight points, seven by Justice and four by Kostic, to wrap it up at 69-55 with 2:52 left.

Gerald Reeding led the Marauders with 21 points including five three-pointers and George Bailey added 14.
