LOCK HAVEN - East Stroudsburg University center Jon Kelley had another big game, but the Warriors dropped a 62-51 men's basketball decision to Lock Haven Sunday.
Kelley scored 15 points on 7 for 10 shooting from the floor and 1 for 2 from the foul line. He also pulled down a game-high 13 rebounds and made three assists. It was his second double-double of the weekend as he had 12 points and ten rebounds in a loss to Clarion Saturday.
ESU had three other players in double figures with John Krimmel scoring 13 points, Juwan Justice 11 and Justin Boehret 10. The rest of the ESU team contributed only two points, however.
Lock Haven was led by Vladimir Zujovic with 17 points followed by George Bailey 14, Brian Hanna 12 and Christopher Ruff 10.
The Bald Eagles took an 11-2 lead in the opening four minutes and led the rest of the way. ESU closed within two points at 37-35 early in the second half and then within three at 45-42 with 8:19 left, but couldn't get any closer.
The Warriors dropped to 3-10 and will play at Mansfield Wednesday at 8 p.m.
Lock Haven is now 5-10.
