ESU-Rowan Women's Lacrosse

GLASSBORO, N.J. - East Stroudsburg University scored two goals in the last two minutes to defeat Rowan, 13-11, and set a school single-season lacrosse victory record.

The Warriors are now 9-3, matching the nine wins garnered by the 1998 team which finished 9-5. They have three games remaining at home against Shippensburg Wednesday and at Lock Haven April 23 and at Gannon April 30.

With the score tied, 11-11, Kim Niles scored an unassisted goal with 1:57 left to give ESU the lead. Then Megan Macauley found the back of the net off a pass from Meghan Laube with one second remaining for the final goal.

Macauley, Niles and Lambert all finished with three goals while Kristin Restivo added two. Niles had three assists to lift her record season total to 23. Macauley made two assists.

ESU goalie Kelly Wagner had 12 saves with key support from point Colleen Birmingham and cover point Andrea Demidont.
