ESU-C.W. Post Women's Lacrosse
BROOKVILLE, N.Y. - Perhaps still in the clouds after Wednesday's historic first-ever win over West Chester, the East Stroudsburg University women's lacrosse team was brought back to earth with a thud Thursday, suffering an 8-7 upset loss to C.W. Post.
The Pioneers (5-4) rallied from a 4-2 halftime deficit to score six goals in the second half for the victory. Shaden Ghattas led the team with four goals.
Megan Macauley scored three goals and Kristin Restivo had two for ESU (7-3), which had won two consecutive one-goal games over Frostbury in overtime and West Chester. Warrior goalie Kelly Wagner made a season-high 17 saves.
