ESU-Gannon Women's Lacrosse

ERIE - Gannon, the nation's top-ranked NCAA Division II in last week's national women's lacrosse poll, spoiled East Stroudsburg University's regular -season finale by beating the Warriors, 12-9, Sunday at Family First Sports Park.

ESU now has an 11-4 record and will travel to Bloomsburg for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference championship game Saturday. Gannon improved to 10-2-1.

The Lady Knights used the scoring combination of Carrie DiBlasi, five goals, and Jessica Lee, four goals, and the setup work of Stacey Reynolds, seven assists, to lead all the way. They had a 5-3 halftime advantage.

Kristin Restivo scored three goals for the Warriors and raised her school-record total to 68 goals. Kim Niles added two goals while Megan Macauley had a goal and two assists.
