Warriors' Sodano, Hostetter Both Selected
on D2Football.com All-America First Team
EAST STROUDSBURG - Football honors keep accumulating for East Stroudsburg University offensive guard Jim Sodano and punter Adam Hostetter.
Both were chosen to the D2Football.com All-America first team. ESU joins NCAA Division II champion as the only school to have more than one player honored.
A total of 26 players, 11 on offense, 11 on defense and four on special teams, were honored by members of the D2Football.com staff. The teams are listed with photos on D2Football.com web site.
Sodano, a 6-3, 305-pound senior from Madison, N.J., previously had been chosen on the Associated Press Little All-America and the Daktronics Division II All-America second team. He made the All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference first team the last two years in which he didn't allow a sack and made 38 pancake blocks, 20 this past season.
Hostetter, a 6-1, 225-pound senior from Red Lion, was a Daktronics All-America first team choice and an Associated Press All-America third team selection. He led the nation in punting with a 44.4-yard average. He was a three-time All-PSAC and All-ECAC South Region first team selection.
