East Stroudsburg, Pa. - Quarterback Geoff Brobst passed for three touchdowns as East Stroudsburg downed Mansfield, 34-20, in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Eastern Division football game Saturday.

Brobst combined on scoring pass plays of five yards to wide receiver Mike Patrick, 15 yards to tight end Matt Triolo and 76 yards to wide receiver John Kotarsky.

The Warriors clinched a winning season, their first since 1996, with a 6-4 record with one game remaining. They wound up 3-3 in the conference. Mansfield is now 1-8 overall and 1-5 in PSAC play.

Mansfield took a 12-7 lead in the first quarter as quarterback Travis Motley completed touchdown passes of six yards to wide receiver Josh Rearick and ten yards to wide receiver Angel Baines.

East Stroudsburg scored three times to take a 27-12 lead before the Mounties scored with 7:56 remaining as Tyree Patterson, a defensive lineman inserted at tailback, ran three yards for a touchdown and then followed with a conversion run.

The Warriors wrapped up the victory by driving 80 yards with fullback A.J. Oliveri taking it across from four yards out for his second touchdown of the game with 1:30 left.

Brobst completed six of 12 passes for 173 yards. Kotarsky caught four passes for 140 yards and Patrick three for 68 yards.

Motley was 18 for 34 for 149 yards. Baines was his leading target with six catches for 49 yards. The Mounties' tailback Jason Roscoe ran 22 times for 87 yards.

East Stroudsburg tailback Andre Castiglioni gained 49 yards on 19 carries and became the school's fourth 1,000-yard rusher with a current total of 1,045 yards.

The Warriors' Kevin Nagle, a linebacker and the PSAC leading tackler, finished with a game-high 13 tackles including two for losses and also blocked a Mansfield field goal attempt.

Mansfield linebacker Dan Holland made ten tackles with two sacks for 17 yards.
